Il joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la min\u00e9ralisation osseuse, la structure et la rigidit\u00e9 des os, mais intervient aussi dans de nombreuses fonctions vitales telles que la contraction musculaire, la coagulation sanguine, la r\u00e9gulation du rythme cardiaque, la lib\u00e9ration d\u2019hormones et le fonctionnement enzymatique.<\/p><hr data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"760\" \/><h2 data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"795\">Le r\u00f4le du calcium dans l\u2019os<\/h2><p data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"1103\">Les os sont des tissus vivants en perp\u00e9tuel renouvellement. Les ost\u00e9oblastes fabriquent une matrice de collag\u00e8ne qui est ensuite consolid\u00e9e par le d\u00e9p\u00f4t de cristaux d\u2019hydroxyapatite, compos\u00e9s de calcium et de phosphore. Ce processus de min\u00e9ralisation conf\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019os sa rigidit\u00e9 et sa r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique.<\/p><p data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1414\">Le calcium est donc indispensable \u00e0 la construction et au maintien d\u2019une structure osseuse solide. En cas d\u2019apport alimentaire insuffisant, l\u2019organisme puise le calcium dans les os pour maintenir un taux sanguin stable, ce qui fragilise le squelette et favorise la d\u00e9min\u00e9ralisation, notamment l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1416\" data-end=\"1419\" \/><h2 data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1461\">Calcium et pr\u00e9vention des fractures<\/h2><p data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1674\">Un apport r\u00e9gulier en calcium est n\u00e9cessaire pour \u00e9viter la d\u00e9min\u00e9ralisation osseuse, en particulier chez l\u2019enfant (pr\u00e9vention du rachitisme) et chez l\u2019adulte \u00e2g\u00e9 (pr\u00e9vention de l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose et des fractures).<\/p><p data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"2004\">Cependant, les \u00e9tudes montrent que le calcium seul ne suffit pas \u00e0 r\u00e9duire significativement le risque de fracture : d\u2019autres facteurs sont \u00e9galement d\u00e9terminants, notamment l\u2019\u00e9quilibre avec d\u2019autres min\u00e9raux (magn\u00e9sium, phosphore, potassium), la vitamine D, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique et l\u2019\u00e9quilibre acido-basique de l\u2019alimentation.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2006\" data-end=\"2009\" \/><h2 data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2065\">Les autres min\u00e9raux essentiels \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 osseuse<\/h2><ul data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2578\"><li data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2268\"><p data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2268\"><strong data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2082\">Magn\u00e9sium<\/strong> : favorise l\u2019absorption du calcium, stimule les ost\u00e9oblastes et r\u00e9duit la fragilit\u00e9 osseuse. Un d\u00e9ficit est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une densit\u00e9 osseuse plus faible et \u00e0 un risque accru de fracture.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2270\" data-end=\"2449\"><p data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2449\"><strong data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2285\">Phosphore<\/strong> : indispensable \u00e0 la formation de l\u2019hydroxyapatite, il doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent en proportion \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e avec le calcium pour \u00e9viter d\u00e9calcification ou d\u00e9p\u00f4ts anormaux.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2451\" data-end=\"2578\"><p data-start=\"2453\" data-end=\"2578\"><strong data-start=\"2453\" data-end=\"2466\">Potassium<\/strong> : son effet alcalinisant limite les pertes de calcium osseux et favorise la pr\u00e9servation de la masse osseuse.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"2583\" \/><h2 data-start=\"2585\" data-end=\"2614\">Le r\u00f4le de la vitamine D<\/h2><p data-start=\"2615\" data-end=\"2777\">La vitamine D est indispensable \u00e0 l\u2019absorption intestinale du calcium. Sans elle, m\u00eame un apport \u00e9lev\u00e9 en calcium ne suffit pas \u00e0 maintenir la solidit\u00e9 osseuse.<\/p><p data-start=\"2779\" data-end=\"2935\">Une suppl\u00e9mentation en vitamine D (600 \u00e0 800 UI\/jour chez l\u2019adulte) est souvent recommand\u00e9e, notamment chez les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es ou peu expos\u00e9es au soleil.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2937\" data-end=\"2940\" \/><h2 data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"2978\">Apports journaliers recommand\u00e9s<\/h2><p data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"3048\">Pour maintenir une ossature solide, il est conseill\u00e9 de consommer :<\/p><ul data-start=\"3049\" data-end=\"3285\"><li data-start=\"3049\" data-end=\"3165\"><p data-start=\"3051\" data-end=\"3165\">1000 \u00e0 1300 mg de calcium par jour selon l\u2019\u00e2ge et la situation (adolescents, femmes enceintes, personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es).<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3166\" data-end=\"3285\"><p data-start=\"3168\" data-end=\"3285\">Une alimentation riche en produits laitiers, l\u00e9gumes verts, ol\u00e9agineux, poissons, eaux min\u00e9rales riches en calcium.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3287\" data-end=\"3290\" \/><h2 data-start=\"3292\" data-end=\"3341\">Dose maximale recommand\u00e9e et risques d\u2019exc\u00e8s<\/h2><p data-start=\"3342\" data-end=\"3446\">La <strong data-start=\"3345\" data-end=\"3372\">dose maximale tol\u00e9rable<\/strong> de calcium est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement fix\u00e9e \u00e0 <strong data-start=\"3409\" data-end=\"3429\">2500 mg par jour<\/strong> pour l\u2019adulte.<\/p><p data-start=\"3448\" data-end=\"3509\">Un apport sup\u00e9rieur sur une longue p\u00e9riode peut entra\u00eener :<\/p><ul data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3710\"><li data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3558\"><p data-start=\"3512\" data-end=\"3558\">Formation de calculs r\u00e9naux (n\u00e9phrolithiase)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3559\" data-end=\"3633\"><p data-start=\"3561\" data-end=\"3633\">Perturbations de l\u2019absorption d\u2019autres min\u00e9raux (fer, zinc, magn\u00e9sium)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3634\" data-end=\"3650\"><p data-start=\"3636\" data-end=\"3650\">Constipation<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3651\" data-end=\"3710\"><p data-start=\"3653\" data-end=\"3710\">Dans certains cas, risque de calcifications vasculaires<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3712\" data-end=\"3803\">Il est donc important de ne pas d\u00e9passer cette limite, surtout en cas de suppl\u00e9mentation.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3805\" data-end=\"3808\" \/><h2 data-start=\"3810\" data-end=\"3857\">Sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales de calcium \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier<\/h2><p data-start=\"3858\" data-end=\"4041\">Pour ceux qui souhaitent limiter la consommation de produits laitiers ou privil\u00e9gier une alimentation plus v\u00e9g\u00e9tale, plusieurs sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales riches en calcium sont excellentes :<\/p><ul data-start=\"4043\" data-end=\"4528\"><li data-start=\"4043\" data-end=\"4133\"><p data-start=\"4045\" data-end=\"4133\"><strong data-start=\"4045\" data-end=\"4071\">L\u00e9gumes verts feuillus<\/strong> : chou kale, brocolis, \u00e9pinards, cresson, feuilles de navet<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4134\" data-end=\"4197\"><p data-start=\"4136\" data-end=\"4197\"><strong data-start=\"4136\" data-end=\"4152\">L\u00e9gumineuses<\/strong> : haricots blancs, pois chiches, lentilles<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4198\" data-end=\"4306\"><p data-start=\"4200\" data-end=\"4306\"><strong data-start=\"4200\" data-end=\"4225\">Graines et ol\u00e9agineux<\/strong> : amandes, graines de s\u00e9same (notamment sous forme de tahini), graines de chia<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4307\" data-end=\"4421\"><p data-start=\"4309\" data-end=\"4421\"><strong data-start=\"4309\" data-end=\"4319\">Algues<\/strong> : notamment la spiruline et certaines algues brunes (\u00e0 consommer avec mod\u00e9ration \u00e0 cause de l\u2019iode)<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4422\" data-end=\"4487\"><p data-start=\"4424\" data-end=\"4487\"><strong data-start=\"4424\" data-end=\"4451\">Produits \u00e0 base de soja<\/strong> : tofu enrichi en calcium, tempeh<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4488\" data-end=\"4528\"><p data-start=\"4490\" data-end=\"4528\"><strong data-start=\"4490\" data-end=\"4526\">Eaux min\u00e9rales riches en calcium<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4530\" data-end=\"4819\">Note importante : la biodisponibilit\u00e9 du calcium dans certains l\u00e9gumes (comme les \u00e9pinards) peut \u00eatre r\u00e9duite par la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019acide oxalique, qui limite son absorption. Le chou kale, le brocoli et le cresson sont parmi les l\u00e9gumes verts \u00e0 la biodisponibilit\u00e9 en calcium la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4821\" data-end=\"4824\" \/><h2 data-start=\"4826\" data-end=\"4865\">Activit\u00e9 physique et sant\u00e9 osseuse<\/h2><p data-start=\"4866\" data-end=\"4959\">Le mouvement stimule le remodelage osseux et favorise la consolidation de la masse osseuse.<\/p><p data-start=\"4961\" data-end=\"5133\">L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re, en particulier les exercices portants (marche, course, danse), est un facteur cl\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9server la densit\u00e9 osseuse tout au long de la vie.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5135\" data-end=\"5138\" \/><h2 data-start=\"5140\" data-end=\"5154\">En r\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/h2><p data-start=\"5155\" data-end=\"5376\">Le calcium est essentiel \u00e0 la solidit\u00e9 des os, mais doit agir en synergie avec la vitamine D, le magn\u00e9sium, le phosphore, le potassium et l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique pour garantir une ossature robuste et pr\u00e9venir l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose.<\/p><p data-start=\"5378\" data-end=\"5652\">Une alimentation vari\u00e9e, riche en l\u00e9gumes verts \u00e0 haute biodisponibilit\u00e9 en calcium et autres sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une hygi\u00e8ne de vie active, est un excellent moyen de pr\u00e9server votre capital osseux tout en limitant la consommation excessive de produits laitiers.<\/p><p data-start=\"5654\" data-end=\"5756\">Veillez toutefois \u00e0 ne pas d\u00e9passer la dose maximale recommand\u00e9e pour \u00e9viter les effets secondaires.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le calcium est le min\u00e9ral le plus abondant dans le corps humain et constitue le principal composant de notre squelette : environ 99 % du calcium de l\u2019organisme est stock\u00e9 dans les os et les dents.
